A Prayer for God’s Blessings on Families, Nations, and the World, Day 334, Sudan

Lord Jesus,
We thank You for the land of Sudan,
Where the Nile flows beside ruined chapels,
And Your name is whispered in hidden places.
We honor the martyrs of the Sudans,
Who held fast to Your truth through war and persecution.
We remember the missionaries who built schools and clinics,
And the believers who still gather in secret.

We bless You for the cathedrals of Khartoum and Omdurman,
For the chapels in refugee camps and mountain caves,
For the choirs that sing in Dinka, Nuba, and Arabic,
And for the prayers spoken beneath tents and trees.

We praise You for the diversity of Your Church—
Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian, Pentecostal.
For the Christian charities that serve the displaced,
For the pastors who shepherd with courage,
And for the youth who rise in joyful worship.

We rejoice in the civic witness of believers—
In reconciliation, education, and care for creation.
In the Christian media that spreads hope,
And the families who pray in huts and homes.

And Lord, we lift up Sudan’s needs:
Heal wounds from civil war and oppression.
Renew the faith of the weary and the young.
Strengthen rural churches and sacred spaces.
Protect religious freedom and Christian symbols.
Let justice and mercy rise in every province.

May Sudan be a haven of peace,
A people of praise,
A nation prepared for Your coming.
