Querido Padre Celestial,
Gracias por este día. Gracias por todo lo que haces por mí cada día, incluso por aquello que a veces no percibo. Gracias por cuidar de mi familia, amigos y conocidos. Te pido que los protejas y los guíes en esta vida. Tráelos sanos y salvos de regreso a ti. Hazles saber que estás ahí para ellos. Nunca permitas que olvide tu presencia en mi vida y guíame con seguridad a lo largo de ella.
Señor, humildemente te pido tu favor. Toca los corazones de los jóvenes, ayudándoles a apreciar el sagrado don del matrimonio y la dulce voz de los niños. Heavenly Father, Blessed Trinity, we humbly approach Your throne of grace, interceding for the nation of Guyana, Your beloved creation, seeking Your mercy and strength for its people. You are the God of justice, healing, and provision, and we plead for Your divine intervention in their time of need.
Lord, we ask for Your peace in Guyana’s territorial disputes with Venezuela over Essequibo and Suriname over the New River Triangle. Guide leaders to resolutions that honor Your will and protect the innocent. We lift up those struggling with despair, as Guyana faces one of the world’s highest suicide rates. Send Your comfort, Lord, and inspire programs to provide hope and mental health support.
Father, we pray for those afflicted by HIV/AIDS, especially in rural areas with limited care. Grant wisdom to healthcare workers and resources to heal and prevent suffering. We ask for Your protection against crime and violence, which burden Guyana’s streets with robberies and fear. Strengthen law enforcement and soften the hearts of those who harm others.
We seek Your justice for economic inequality, Lord, as oil wealth grows but poverty persists. Distribute Your abundance fairly, uplifting rural communities. We pray for the youth facing unemployment, that You open doors to meaningful work and purpose. Heal the political and ethnic divisions that spark violence, knitting Guyana’s people together in Your love.
Lord, shield Guyana’s coast from flooding, which threatens homes and crops. Provide ingenuity for better drainage and resilience against climate change. We ask for improved healthcare access in the hinterlands, where Your children lack medical care, and for education systems to flourish, freeing children from labor and ignorance.
Father, guard Guyana’s rainforests from the harms of development, preserving Your creation for future generations. Disrupt the chains of drug trafficking that tempt and destroy, and grant wisdom in laws affecting Rastafarians, balancing justice with compassion. We pray for infrastructure—roads, energy, and connectivity—to reach the remote, fostering unity and growth.
Finally, Lord, stem the loss of Guyana’s skilled workers to emigration. Raise up leaders and professionals to serve their homeland, building a future that glorifies You. We trust in Your power to transform these challenges, for nothing is impossible with You. Hear our prayers for Guyana, offered in the holy name of Jesus Christ.

May every word he speaks be Your words, inspired by Your truth and perfectly aligned with the teachings of Your Holy Scripture. We pray that his will be wholly surrendered to Yours, reflecting only Your divine purpose and glory. Lead him, Father, to be a faithful shepherd under Your sovereign control and that Your Angel will shield and protect him all evil.
