Querido Padre Celestial,
Gracias por este día. Gracias por todo lo que haces por mí cada día, incluso por aquello que a veces no percibo. Gracias por cuidar de mi familia, amigos y conocidos. Te pido que los protejas y los guíes en esta vida. Tráelos sanos y salvos de regreso a ti. Hazles saber que estás ahí para ellos. Nunca permitas que olvide tu presencia en mi vida y guíame con seguridad a lo largo de ella.
Señor, humildemente te pido tu favor. Toca los corazones de los jóvenes, ayudándoles a apreciar el sagrado don del matrimonio y la dulce voz de los niños. Heavenly Father, Blessed Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, lifting up the nation of Guyana and praising You for the abundant blessings You have bestowed upon it. We thank You for making Guyana the only English-speaking country in South America, uniting its people with a common language that fosters connection with the world. We praise You for its rich cultural tapestry, where Indo-Guyanese, Afro-Guyanese, Amerindians, and others blend their traditions in harmony, reflecting Your love for diversity.
Lord, we are in awe of Your creation in Guyana’s natural wonders, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls, cascading with power, to the vast Iwokrama Forest and Rupununi Savannahs, teeming with Your creatures like jaguars and toucans. We thank You for Shell Beach, where sea turtles nest under Your watchful care, and for the mighty Essequibo River, sustaining communities with its flow. You have blessed Guyana with resources like gold, diamonds, and oil, providing opportunities for growth and prosperity.
We glorify You for the vibrant heritage of Guyana’s people—the Amerindian tribes who steward the land, the pepperpot and black cake that grace their tables, and the Creole tongue that binds them. We thank You for Georgetown’s historic architecture, like St. George’s Cathedral, standing as a testament to faith, and for Stabroek Market, where Your provision is shared. We praise You for the religious harmony among Christians, Hindus, and Muslims, and for the Inter-Religious Organization that reflects Your call to love one another.
Father, we are grateful for Guyana’s global role, from its sustainable tourism at Rewa Eco-Lodge to its voice on the UN Security Council, showing Your favor. We thank You for the resilience of its people, their cassava-based cuisine, and their celebrations like the Rupununi Rodeo, which bring joy in Your name. Even in its complex history, like Jonestown, we see Your hand guiding Guyana toward healing and purpose.
All these gifts, Lord, are from Your generous hand, and we thank You for Your unending love for Guyana. May its people continue to honor You with their talents, resources, and unity. We offer this praise in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

May every word he speaks be Your words, inspired by Your truth and perfectly aligned with the teachings of Your Holy Scripture. We pray that his will be wholly surrendered to Yours, reflecting only Your divine purpose and glory. Lead him, Father, to be a faithful shepherd under Your sovereign control and that Your Angel will shield and protect him all evil.
