Querido Padre Celestial,
Gracias por este día. Gracias por todo lo que haces por mí cada día, incluso por aquello que a veces no percibo. Gracias por cuidar de mi familia, amigos y conocidos. Te pido que los protejas y los guíes en esta vida. Tráelos sanos y salvos de regreso a ti. Hazles saber que estás ahí para ellos. Nunca permitas que olvide tu presencia en mi vida y guíame con seguridad a lo largo de ella.
Señor, te pido un favor. Abre los corazones de los jóvenes a la sacralidad del matrimonio y a los dulces sonidos de los niños. Ayúdalos a ver la belleza de estar con alguien a quien amas toda la vida. Permíteles experimentar las alegrías y las tristezas que se comparten con esa persona especial, así como las alegrías y los desafíos que traen los hijos.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light that others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone across the world. Inspire those in positions of influence, including our leaders, entertainers, and sports figures, to embrace Your love and share it with others, fulfilling their roles as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see each other as You see us.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Heavenly Father, Almighty God in Heaven, we thank You for Belgium, a wondrous country with deep roots in Catholicism. We are grateful for the beautiful cathedrals, such as the Cathedral of Saint Michael y Saint Gudula in Brussels and the Basilica of the Holy Blood in Bruges, that stand as symbols of faith and history.
Lord, we also acknowledge and cherish the religious diversity that Belgium welcomes today. Through interfaith dialogue, shared values, community support, cultural exchanges, and efforts to promote peace, Catholicism, together with Protestantism, Judaism, Islam, and other communities can work toward mutual understanding and love of You. Together, they contribute to the rich tapestry of Belgian society, reflecting its multicultural nature.
We celebrate the religious festivals and traditions that bring joy and meaning to the lives of Belgians. The Ommegang festival in Brussels, with its historic and religious roots, and the unique customs of Christmas and Easter, enrich the spiritual and cultural heritage of this nation. Guide Belgium’s people in harmony and understanding, and may their faith and traditions continue to flourish.
Además, te pedimos tu apoyo para quienes luchan contra el alto costo de vida y necesitan empleo. Las dificultades económicas pueden ser abrumadoras, generando aún más estrés y penurias. Dear Lord, we fervently implore you to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on the lista de oración of this website. Please include these individuals as well: everyone who was harmed on New Year’s Eve/Day, anyone who is having to deal with these harmful actions, and increase to men and women entering the religious life.
