Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I ask one favor from you. Please open the hearts of the young to the sacredness of marriage and the little sounds of children. Help them to see the beauty of being with someone you love all your life. Allow them to experience the joys and sadness which one can experience with that special someone and the joys and challenges which children bring.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light that others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone across the world. Inspire those in positions of influence, including our leaders, entertainers, and sports figures, to embrace Your love and share it with others, fulfilling their roles as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see each other as You see us.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Heavenly Father, Almighty God in Heaven, we thank You for Belgium, a wondrous country with deep roots in Catholicism. We are grateful for the beautiful cathedrals, such as the Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula in Brussels and the Basilica of the Holy Blood in Bruges, that stand as symbols of faith and history.
Lord, we also acknowledge and cherish the religious diversity that Belgium welcomes today. Through interfaith dialogue, shared values, community support, cultural exchanges, and efforts to promote peace, Catholicism, together with Protestantism, Judaism, Islam, and other communities can work toward mutual understanding and love of You. Together, they contribute to the rich tapestry of Belgian society, reflecting its multicultural nature.
We celebrate the religious festivals and traditions that bring joy and meaning to the lives of Belgians. The Ommegang festival in Brussels, with its historic and religious roots, and the unique customs of Christmas and Easter, enrich the spiritual and cultural heritage of this nation. Guide Belgium’s people in harmony and understanding, and may their faith and traditions continue to flourish.
Additionally, we ask for Your support for those struggling with the high cost of living and who are in need of employment. The financial burdens can be overwhelming, creating further stress and hardship. We express our heartfelt gratitude for Your unwavering love and care, and we pray for Your help in providing the means for these individuals to thrive and find peace.
Dear Lord, we fervently implore you to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on the prayer list of this website. Please include these individuals as well: everyone who was harmed on New Year’s Eve/Day, anyone who is having to deal with these harmful actions, and increase to men and women entering the religious life.
We ask that you fill our places of worship for you to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day of each day of the week. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
