Some soaps are made simply to clean. This one was made to remind us of a season in the life of Christ.
The Church year moves through seasons of remembrance, prayer, reflection, and devotion. Each month draws our attention toward a different mystery of the faith, a saint, or an aspect of Christ’s life. June is devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
When we think of the Sacred Heart, we remember how Christ’s heart was pierced out of love for us. The Sacred Heart devotion centers on His mercy, compassion, and willingness to endure the Passion — the suffering, pain, and affliction He accepted for the sake of humanity.
The rose represents both His love and the wounds He carried for us. The frankincense rises like prayer, carrying the fragrance of sacrifice and devotion.
My hope is that when this soap is used, its fragrance will gently permeate the home and draw the heart back toward reflection on the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Use it during June or throughout the year. Every time you light the candle or use the soap, let it become a quiet reminder of His love.

March belongs to Saint Joseph and reflects quiet work, fatherhood, and faithful labor. May is devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary and carries the beauty of contemplation and the Rosary. October draws us into the mysteries of the Rosary, while November reminds us to pray for the faithful departed.
The Church year teaches us to remember. To pause. To reflect. To carry faith into ordinary life and into the home itself.
