Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for today. Thank You for all that You do for me each and every day, including that which I fail to notice. Thank You for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that You shield and protect them, guide them in this life, and bring them safely home to You. Let them know that You are always with them. Never let me forget Your presence in my life, and guide me safely through it.
Lord, I humbly seek Your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young. Help them to appreciate the sacred gift of marriage. May they value the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the bond of marriage. May they also embrace the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and people throughout the world. Inspire those in positions of influence. Encourage our leaders, entertainers, athletes, and business leaders to embrace Your love. Help them reflect it to others as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see one another as You see us.
I ask for conversion and mercy for all sinners, and mercy for the souls in purgatory. I pray for the healing of the sick, if it be Your will. Help those who are struggling to walk with You through the trials and tribulations of their lives. Thank You, Lord, for the life You have given me. I ask that Your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world. This includes the archangels appointed over each nation. Bring Your peace to every country and every people.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for this quiet hour, for the stillness that allows us to remember You are near. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in our lungs, and for the unseen ways You sustain us each day. Guard our families, our friends, and all those entrusted to us. Lead us safely through this life and bring us home to You.
Tonight, Lord, we lift before You the nation of Brunei, a small land on the island of Borneo, wrapped in rainforest and bordered by sea. You know every village, every shoreline, every heart that wakes there in the dark hours of the night.
We pray especially for the Christian community in Brunei — those who quietly gather, who worship faithfully, who persevere with courage. Strengthen them, Lord. Let them know they are not forgotten. Give them wisdom, patience, and deep interior peace.
Bless those who serve in the Church there — priests, religious, catechists, and lay faithful — that they may remain steadfast in truth and gentle in spirit. May the witness of the universal Church strengthen them, and may the prayers of the saints surround them.
We ask that Your light shine in every home in Brunei. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is uncertainty, bring clarity. Where there is isolation, bring the assurance of Your presence.
Lord, bless the leaders of Brunei. Grant them wisdom to govern with justice and integrity. Soften hearts where needed. Guide decisions toward fairness and peace.
We pray for families — for parents raising children, for those working to provide, for the elderly, for the sick, and for those who feel unseen. Provide daily bread. Protect livelihoods. Strengthen marriages. Guard the young.
May Your Holy Spirit move quietly but powerfully in this nation. May seeds of truth take root. May kindness grow. May hearts be open to grace.
Protect this land from harm. Shield it from violence and unrest. Let its natural beauty — its forests, rivers, and seas — remain a reminder of Your creativity and care.
Lord, help us too. Help us to pray without pride, to intercede without fear, and to love without condition. Keep our own light from being hidden. Let us remain faithful witnesses wherever we are planted.
We entrust Brunei to Your Sacred Heart. Guard them. Guide them. Hold them close. And for all who are awake at this hour — whether in Brunei or elsewhere — grant rest to weary minds and peace to troubled hearts.
Let Your Spirit fill the youth with purpose, and open doors of opportunity that anchor them in faith. May corruption be replaced with righteousness, and may every leader walk in Your light.
Dear Lord, we implore You to envelop all restless souls awake in the stillness of this night with Your peace. We lift before You those on our prayer list and Alex, Gaston, Lloyd, M/M Ben, M/M George, Brandy, and all the peoples throughout the world. We remember especially those in desperate need: the weary sleeping on the streets, under bridges, in hospitals, and their families.
Help our teens draw closer to You. Uplift those with mental disabilities. Support those who wander in doubt of Your existence. Comfort those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and terminal illnesses.
Be especially near to those who will meet You this day. Grant them a peaceful passing. Give them the comfort of Your mercy and eternal rest.
We pray for an increase number of men and women entering the religious life. We also pray for those who experience violence from lost souls.
Lord, please intercede among all peoples. Show them how to resolve differences without fighting, rioting, or harming one another. Open our eyes to the beauty of putting You first in our lives and living together in peace.
Bless the work of our hands. Guide us in the care of the world You have entrusted to us. Let all labor be done with dignity, honesty, and love.
May we all understand that differing opinions need not divide us, but can lead us toward deeper understanding.
Thank You, Lord, for being in our lives. Your presence is the beauty we see in our lives.
We come before You seeking Your guidance for Pope Leo XIV. Make him a pure vessel filled with Your Holy Spirit. Let no worldly influence sway his heart from You. May every word he speaks reflect Your truth and align with Sacred Scripture. May his will be surrendered fully to Yours, and may Your angels shield and protect him from all evil.
We ask that our places of worship be filled to overflowing, and that perpetual adoration chapels never are empty. Protect our clergy, strengthen them, and help them remain faithful to the mission You have entrusted to them.
We lift up every spoken and unspoken intention held within our hearts.
In Your holy name we pray. We adore You, and may our love for You grow deeper with every passing day.
