A Prayer for God’s Blessings on Families, Nations, and the World, Day 330, South Sudan

Heavenly Father,
We bless You for the grace You’ve poured into South Sudan,
A nation of rivers and resilience,
Where liturgy meets longing,
And holiness is carved into memory and song.

We thank You for the martyrs of the Sudans,
For Bishop Paride Taban and the peacemakers of Juba,
For the missionaries who planted seeds of hope,
And the believers who walk in Your truth.

We praise You for the sacred places—
The cathedrals of Rumbek and Malakal,
The prayer tents in displacement camps,
The altars built from mud and mercy,
And the chapels that rise beside sorghum fields.

We rejoice in the rhythms of worship—
In Dinka, Nuer, English, and Arabic,
In the liturgies of Catholics, charismatics, and Anglicans,
And in the youth ministries that stir revival.

We honor South Sudan’s civic witness—
Its care for the poor, its interfaith dialogue,
Its Christian charities and mission outreach,
And its public prayers for peace and unity.

And Lord, we lift up South Sudan’s needs:
Provide spiritual renewal for every generation.
Expand care for the elderly and vulnerable.
Foster unity among Christian communities.
Preserve sacred sites and oral traditions with reverence.
Let Your mercy flow through every street and sanctuary.
