Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I humbly seek your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young, helping them appreciate the sacred gift of marriage and the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing a life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the special bond of marriage, as well as the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, through Your Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, we come before You with gratitude for Myanmar—a land shaped by Your beauty and grace. From the clear waters of the Andaman Islands to the quiet caves of Hpa-An, where Christian and Buddhist shrines stand side by side, Your presence is woven into the landscape. Thank You for the 2.2 million Christians who remain faithful through hardship, and for those who gave their lives in 2021, bearing witness to Your name.
We praise You for Mandalay’s rich culture, the wonder of the Golden Rock, and the Shan festivals that reflect the soul of the nation. Thank You for the music of the saung gauk, the intricate Karen weaving, and the ancient ruins of Mrauk U—each a testament to the heritage You’ve entrusted to this people.
We’re grateful for Yangon’s historic charm, the farmers who sustain the country, the natural beauty of Ngapali Beach, and the monastery schools that bring learning to remote communities.
In Your mercy, hear our prayers for Myanmar. Bring peace to regions torn by ethnic conflict and restore stability after the 2021 coup. Provide food for the millions who are hungry, and improve healthcare to protect vulnerable children. Raise up women and ethnic minorities like the Kachin and Karen to lead in reconciliation and governance.
Strengthen infrastructure—roads, electricity, and shelter—for those still without. Protect the land and its people from disasters like Cyclone Mocha. Inspire the youth with education and opportunity, and defend the freedom of the press, especially for those who’ve been silenced.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Dear Lord, we fervently ask You to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek Your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well, Eugenie, Margaret, Ivan, Gerard, Freddy, Fred, Maria, Diana, Michelle, Marilyn, Marlene, and those in hospitals and their families, and help teens grow closer to You, those with mental disabilities, those who are lost or confused about Your existence, and people with Alzheimer’s and terminal illnesses, and the number of men and women entering the religious life.
Lord, please intercede between all peoples. Show them how resolve differences without fighting, rioting, or hurting one another. Open their/our eyes to the beauty in putting you first in our life and living with each other in peace. May we all understand that differing opinions don’t have to divide us; instead, let us work together to reach a common understanding. Thank you Lord for being here for me and everyone. Your presence is the beauty in our life.
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine guidance for Pope Leo XIV. We ask that You make him Your pure vessel, filled only with Your Holy Spirit. Let no worldly influence, no force outside Your heavenly kingdom, sway his heart or mind from You. May every word he speaks be Your words, inspired by Your truth and perfectly aligned with the teachings of Your Holy Scripture. We pray that his will be wholly surrendered to Yours, reflecting only Your divine purpose and glory. Lead him, Father, to be a faithful shepherd under Your sovereign control and that Your angels will shield and protect him from all evil.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
