National Wear Red Day

February 5th is National Wear Red Day for American Heart Month. Twelve symptoms which should be never ignored:

  1. Anxiety
  2. Chest discomfort
  3. Cough
  4. Dizziness
  5. Fatigue
  6. Nausea or Lack of appetite
  7. Pain in other parts of the body
  8. Rapid or Irregular Pulse
  9. Shortness of breath
  10. Sweating
  11. Swelling
  12. Weakness

It is a good idea to learn CPR so you can take care of others in emergencies when every moment counts. There are many locations which can help you become certified, like the American Heart Association and your local Red Cross, both of which offer comprehensive courses tailored for beginners to advanced learners. By taking the time to schedule a class, you not only equip yourself with essential lifesaving skills but also empower yourself to act confidently in critical situations, potentially saving a life. Engaging in this training can also foster a sense of community responsibility, as you become part of a network of individuals dedicated to safety and preparedness in your area.

If you find that you are experiencing these symptoms, let your doctor know as soon as possible.
