Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I ask one favor from you. Please open the hearts of the young to the sacredness of marriage and the little sounds of children. Help them to see the beauty of being with someone you love all your life. Allow them to experience the joys and sadness which one can experience with that special someone and the joys and challenges which children bring.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light that others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone across the world. Inspire those in positions of influence, including our leaders, entertainers, sports figures, and business leaders to embrace Your love and share it with others, fulfilling their roles as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see each other as You see us.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Heavenly Father, Almighty God in Heaven, we thank You for the countless blessings You have bestowed upon Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are grateful for the beauty and peace that radiates through this land, from the majestic Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo to the serene Blagaj Tekke, both standing as symbols of Your grace, peace, and spiritual connection.
We thank You for the diverse religious heritage that defines this country, where Muslims, Eastern Orthodox Christians, and Catholics have coexisted for centuries in mutual respect. Thank You for the harmony that flows through these traditions, each one a reflection of Your infinite love, wisdom, and understanding. We are especially grateful for the cities of Sarajevo, Mostar, Trebinje, and Banja Luka, where the threads of different faiths intertwine, creating a tapestry of unity.
Thank You for the ability to live together in peace, for the traditions that bind us, and for the shared values that unite us across different faiths. We give thanks for the natural beauty that surrounds us, from the tranquil waters of Vrelo Bosne to the flowing Neretva River, which remind us of Your endless creativity and care in shaping this world.
We are thankful for the sacred places where we come to reflect, pray, and find solace in Your presence. In these spaces, such as Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque and Blagaj Tekke, we are reminded of Your eternal love and the unity we share, despite our differences. We are also grateful for the communities in Jajce, Visoko, Foča, and Srebrenica, where Your spirit of peace continues to guide the hearts of all who dwell there.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give thanks, to worship, and to live in harmony with one another. We humbly thank You, God, for the interconnection of all these blessings. May Your light continue to guide us in our journey of peace, understanding, and gratitude.
Additionally, we ask for Your support for those struggling with the high cost of living and who are in need of employment. The financial burdens can be overwhelming, creating further stress and hardship. We express our heartfelt gratitude for Your unwavering love and care, and we pray for Your help in providing the means for these individuals to thrive and find peace.
Dear Lord, we fervently implore you to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well: people being affected by the fires in California, teens grow closer to you, those with mental disabilities, victims of the terrorist attack in New Orleans, James A, Joseph B, Christine C, Taina E, Ashton G, Kathy G, those that are lost or confused about your existence, and people with Alzheimer and terminal illnesses and increase to men and women entering the religious life.
We ask that you fill our places of worship for you to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day of each day of the week. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
