Sally and Tommy had been friends for a long time. They knew each other well. They always had hung out with each other whenever they didn’t have others in their life. Their friendship was solid and enduring.
Their friendships with others were full of excitement and quick moments. But, those relationships never lasted. The thrill of the moment. Anyhow, this happened to be one moments. Their lives had grown static with others, same things always occurring. Always whirlwind trips, movies, and dinners.
There is a belief that life has to always be in motion, full of surprises, never a quiet moment. Little did they realize that life is made up of a bunch different types of moment.
One day as they were just hanging out, they realized that between the two they had the perfect relationship. You see, they knew each other so well, better than anybody they had ever met.
They always had great times together. They had always hung out together as friends, never ever more. They had joyful moments, sad moments, and quiet moments. And yes, even moments where their relationship seemed to be static. Like they were just there… Nevertheless that was ok. Because between the two they had the perfect relationship, one that had endured so much.
