Happy Pretend Traveler Day! We are all travelers whether we go to school, to work, or just travel for other reasons. We are even travelers through life. Because today day is to pretend, I believe I will be far-fetched.
Once upon a time, there was Joachim, the mystic who foretold that in the future, people would be sailing through the air without any assistance because of the ability to adapt to their environment. As people float through the air, one can feel the majesty of this creation. Lights and sounds will not be confined to our old perceptions.

Anyway, Tomey and his friends decided to go to the nearest pop shop to hang out and enjoy each other’s company while they munched on the latest fad sandwich made of chapa (a vegetable that tastes like a combination of butterscotch and pork chops) and oranges, but not just any oranges. These oranges have grown with no peel in the frozen tundra of the Arctic.
As they traveled on their way, they passed a special type of wild jaguar called Opitivietel, which is known for foretelling the future in a lyrical way. Horbi yelled at the rest that he wanted to see what Opitivietel would say today. Everyone agreed that it would be fun, especially since Opitivietel often stated things that didn’t make sense.
While they were chatting with Opitivietel, he noticed that there were wild animals playing with each other nearby, like lions, tigers, boas, and iguanas. As Horbi and his friends gathered around Opitivietel, the wise jaguar began to speak in a melodic and rhythmical tone, his eyes glowing with a mystical light.
“Listen closely, dear travelers of time and space, for today a fantastical tale is about to unfold; it will make your being swirl with images that will make you smile and laugh at such preposterous ideas. Search in this land where the clouds are made of fluffy, strawberry cotton candy and the swift rivers flow with sparkling pink lemonade and rapids that happen so quickly that if you don’t watch out, you will be bathed in the waters. There exists a castle with a moat built entirely of Starburst candies. Inside, the king and queen dine on spaghetti ice cream and bonbons, and tap-dancing flamingos and moonwalking armadillos are members of the royal court.”
But beware, for the skies will soon be filled with a flurry of pineapples and dragon fruits, raining down sweet and tangy deliciousness upon those who dare to dodge the flying fruit in the citrus storm. On the horizon, you will see a caravan of unicorns pulling chariots made of marshmallows, bringing with them tales of adventures in the land of forgotten dreams.

In the midst of all this enchantment, you will meet a talking mushroom named Sporelius, who speaks only in limericks. By listening to him you will manage to go through the enchanted forest where trees sing lullabies and the leaves shimmer like emeralds. There, you will discover the secret to eternal laughter hidden in the heart of a rainbow-colored dragon who loves to tell jokes.
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Bear.
Bear who?
Bear.
Bear who?
Bear with me, it’s so cold out here I can hardly talk!
So, journey onward, dear travelers, and embrace the madness of this world where the improbable becomes possible, and every step you take is a dance with the extraordinary.
And with that, Opitivietel paused, his lyrical foretelling leaving everyone in a daze. Tomey, Horbi, and their friends couldn’t help but smile at the absurdity and magic of the event.
Happy Pretend Traveler Day! Enjoy the fantastical journey!
