Querido Padre Celestial,
Gracias por este día. Gracias por todo lo que haces por mí cada día, incluso por aquello que a veces no percibo. Gracias por cuidar de mi familia, amigos y conocidos. Te pido que los protejas, los guíes en esta vida y los lleves sanos y salvos a tu lado. Hazles saber que siempre estás con ellos. Nunca permitas que olvide tu presencia en mi vida y guíame con seguridad a través de ella.
Señor, humildemente te pido tu favor. Toca los corazones de los jóvenes. Ayúdalos a apreciar el sagrado don del matrimonio. Que valoren los delicados sonidos de los niños. Ilumina su visión para que vean la profunda belleza de compartir la vida con alguien a quien aman profundamente. Que estén abiertos a las alegrías y tristezas que conlleva el vínculo matrimonial. Que también acojan las alegrías y los desafíos únicos que los hijos traen a sus vidas.
Querido Padre Celestial, guíame para ser la luz que otros necesitan para encontrar el camino de regreso a Ti, sin ocultar jamás mi luz. Concede paz interior a quienes la buscan. Pido Tu protección y guía para nuestro país, nuestros funcionarios políticos, nuestro clero y la gente de todo el mundo. Inspira a quienes ocupan puestos de influencia. Anima a nuestros líderes, artistas, atletas y empresarios a abrazar Tu amor. Ayúdalos a reflejarlo a los demás como miembros de Tu familia. Que su luz brille con intensidad, atrayendo a otros a Tu presencia. Ayúdanos a vernos los unos a los otros como Tú nos ves.
Te pido conversión y misericordia para todos los pecadores, y misericordia para las almas del purgatorio. Oro con alegría por la sanación de los enfermos, confiando en Tu voluntad. Ayuda a quienes atraviesan las pruebas y tribulaciones de la vida, mostrándoles la luz y la fortaleza para seguir adelante. Gracias, Señor, por la vida abundante que me has dado. Te pido que Tus ángeles nos protejan con fiereza de las fuerzas del mal que amenazan nuestro mundo, incluyendo a los arcángeles designados para cada nación. Lleva Tu paz a cada país y a cada pueblo.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for Egypt, a land where history rises from the sand, where the Nile moves like a ribbon of life through the desert, and where mountains, temples, monasteries, and cities stand as witnesses to thousands of years of human story. Thank You for the beauty of the Red Sea, the quiet of the desert, the strength of the Nile Delta, and the ancient pathways that have carried travelers, prophets, and pilgrims.
Bless the people of Egypt, the families who gather around shared meals, the communities who carry tradition with dignity, the artisans who shape beauty from stone and copper, the farmers who depend on the Nile’s faithful rhythm, and the children who grow up surrounded by stories older than memory. Bless their resilience, their warmth, their hospitality, and the deep sense of identity that binds them together.
Lord, bless every place where life unfolds — the bustling streets of Cairo, the markets filled with color and sound, the villages along the Nile where life moves with ancient rhythm, the desert towns where silence feels sacred, and the coastal cities where the sea meets the shore with shimmering grace.
And woven through all of this, Lord, is the ancient Christian soul of Egypt, a faith that took root in the earliest days of the Church, carried by the Coptic Christians who have endured with courage and devotion for centuries. Thank You for the monasteries that rise from the desert like fortresses of prayer — St. Anthony’s, St. Paul’s, Wadi El Natrun, and the many holy places where monks have prayed for the world since the third century.
Thank You for the saints who shaped global Christianity,
St. Anthony the Great, father of monasticism;
St. Paul the Hermit, who sought You in the desert;
St. Athanasius, defender of the faith;
St. Catherine of Alexandria, brilliant and courageous;
and the countless martyrs whose witness still strengthens the Church.
Thank You for the Marian apparitions that have comforted this nation, especially Our Lady of Zeitoun, who appeared in light above the church rooftop, drawing Christians and Muslims alike into awe and peace.
Bless the holy places where hearts turn toward You —
the Monastery of St. Catherine at Sinai,
the Church of the Holy Family sites where tradition says Mary, Joseph, and the Child Jesus rested,
the Coptic churches of Old Cairo,
and the desert caves where prayer has never ceased.
Mother Mary, who walked this land with the Holy Family, wrap Egypt in your mantle. Protect its people. Comfort its wounded places. Guide its leaders.
Let your tenderness be felt from the Delta to the Red Sea, from the cities to the desert.
Lord, let peace rest on Egypt like dawn over the Nile. Let unity deepen.
Let compassion grow. Let hope rise like the sun over the desert sands. Bless this land, its people, its beauty, and its future.
Lord, let unity rise where separation has lingered too long. Let forgiveness take root where pain has lived. Let hope flourish in every region — north and south, mountain and coast, village and city. Dear Lord, we joyfully implore You to surround all restless souls awake in the stillness of this night with Your peace. We lift before You those on our lista de oración and Gerry, Catherine, the Fox Family, Rojie, Mary, the priest, M/M George, and all people around the world. We especially remember those in need: the weary finding rest on the streets, under bridges, in hospitals, and their families, knowing that hope and healing is within reach.
Ayuda a nuestros adolescentes a acercarse a Ti. Fortalece a quienes padecen discapacidades mentales. Apoya a quienes dudan de Tu existencia. Consuela a quienes sufren de Alzheimer y enfermedades terminales.
Permanece especialmente cerca de quienes te conocerán hoy. Concédeles una partida serena. Dales el consuelo de tu misericordia y el descanso eterno.
Oramos por un mayor número de hombres y mujeres que ingresen a la vida religiosa. También oramos por quienes sufren violencia por parte de almas perdidas.
Señor, intercede por todos los pueblos. Muéstrales cómo resolver sus diferencias sin peleas, disturbios ni daño mutuo. Abre nuestros ojos a la belleza de ponerte a Ti en primer lugar en nuestras vidas y vivir juntos en paz.
Bendice el trabajo de nuestras manos. Guíanos en el cuidado del mundo que nos has confiado. Que todo trabajo se realice con dignidad, honestidad y amor.
Ojalá todos comprendamos que las diferentes opiniones no tienen por qué dividirnos, sino que pueden conducirnos a una comprensión más profunda.
Gracias, Señor, por estar en nuestras vidas. Tu presencia es la belleza que vemos en ellas.
Nos presentamos ante Ti buscando tu guía para el Papa León XIV. Haz de él un instrumento puro, lleno de tu Espíritu Santo. Que ninguna influencia mundana aparte su corazón de Ti. Que cada palabra que pronuncie refleje tu verdad y esté en consonancia con la Sagrada Escritura. Que su voluntad se someta plenamente a la tuya, y que tus ángeles lo protejan de todo mal.
Te pedimos que nuestros lugares de culto estén siempre llenos y que las capillas de adoración perpetua nunca estén vacías. Protege a nuestro clero, fortalécelo y ayúdalo a permanecer fiel a la misión que le has encomendado.
Elevamos cada intención, expresada o no, que albergamos en nuestros corazones.
En tu santo nombre oramos. Te adoramos y que nuestro amor por ti crezca cada día más.
