A Savior Has Been Born — Merry Christmas

Today, we simply rejoice.

Jesus Christ is born.

Not as an idea.
Not as a symbol.
But as a child given to the world.

“For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given.”
— Isaiah 9:6

He has entered our history, our weakness, our ordinary days.
He has taken flesh so that nothing human would be untouched by God.

Today is not for striving.
Not for explanation.
Not for analysis.

Today is for joy.

May the peace announced by angels rest in your home.
May the quiet strength of Mary and the faithful presence of Joseph steady your heart.
May the light that dawned in Bethlehem shine gently into your life.
