On a quiet First Saturday morning, the sky was washed in gold and blue. Prayer seemed to rise more easily with the wind moving through the trees. In that stillness came a deeper reflection on discernment, motherhood, and the responsibility we carry for the souls entrusted to us.
In recent weeks I have been reminded how easily even good intentions can drift beyond the safe harbor of God’s will. As I read this post, it became clear that dreams, prayer, and the gentle warnings of the Spirit reveal directions. They also uncover dangers that may have otherwise remained hidden.
These reflections became a prayer for greater vigilance. They also became a plea for the Gift of Discernment. This occurs in times when confusion and deception seem to grow louder in the world around us.
