Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for today. Thank You for all that You do for me each and every day, including that which I fail to notice. Thank You for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that You shield and protect them, guide them in this life, and bring them safely home to You. Let them know that You are always with them. Never let me forget Your presence in my life, and guide me safely through it.
Lord, I humbly seek Your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young. Help them to appreciate the sacred gift of marriage. May they value the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the bond of marriage. May they also embrace the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and people throughout the world. Inspire those in positions of influence. Encourage our leaders, entertainers, athletes, and business leaders to embrace Your love. Help them reflect it to others as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see one another as You see us.
I ask for conversion and mercy for all sinners, and mercy for the souls in purgatory. I joyfully pray for the healing of the sick, trusting in Your will. Help those who are walking through life’s trials and tribulations, showing them the light and strength to carry on. Thank You, Lord, for the abundant life You have given me. I ask that Your angels fiercely protect us from the powers of evil that challenge our world, including the archangels appointed over each nation. Bring Your peace to every country and every people.
Dear Heavenly Father, I walk with You now through the Netherlands through Amsterdam’s historic streets, through Rotterdam’s bustling harbors, and through neighborhoods where life is shaped by water, wind, and quiet perseverance. We begin in Amsterdam, where believers gather to worship with reverence and seek Your strength. Bless all who come with petitions, gratitude, and hope.
We move to Rotterdam, where drought has forced the unprecedented closure of all sluices, a historic moment revealing the fragility of freshwater supplies and the courage of those who protect them. Heavenly Father, pour Your mercy over this region, shielding it from saltwater intrusion and guiding every decision made to safeguard the land.
We travel to vulnerable neighborhoods in Enschede, Doetinchem, and Nijverdal, where extreme rainfall has flooded homes, closed hospital emergency rooms, and even cut power to thousands. Father, comfort displaced families, heal those affected by damp and mold, and strengthen communities still recovering from these storms.
We pause to remember the woman killed in recent severe thunderstorms, and the many families who suffered damage from lightning, hail, and destructive winds. Father, hold the grieving close, protect the vulnerable, and calm the storms that threaten this land.
We honor the believers who worship with sincerity, whose devotion rises like incense across the canals and fields. And Mary, gentle Mother of the Netherlands, Mother of the pilgrim, Mother of the hopeful walk with this nation as You walked with Your Son.
Let the Netherlands be held in Your peace. Let its believers be strengthened. Let its future shine with the hope of the Gospel and the courage of those who love You deeply.
Dear Lord, we joyfully implore You to surround all restless souls awake in the stillness of this night with Your peace, Makenna, M/M Ben, Brad, M/M George, Rhonda, Tommy, Eris, Eva, Aline and all people around the world and those on the prayer list. We especially remember those in need: the weary finding rest on the streets, under bridges, in hospitals, and their families, knowing that hope and healing is within reach.
Lord, please intercede among all peoples. Show them how to resolve differences without fighting, rioting, or harming one another. Open our eyes to the beauty of putting You first in our lives and living together in peace.
Bless the work of our hands. Guide us in the care of the world You have entrusted to us. Let all labor be done with dignity, honesty, and love.
May we all understand that differing opinions need not divide us, but can lead us toward deeper understanding.
Thank You, Lord, for being in our lives. Your presence is the beauty we see in our lives.
We come before You seeking Your guidance for Pope Leo XIV. Make him a pure vessel filled with Your Holy Spirit. Let no worldly influence sway his heart from You. May every word he speaks reflect Your truth and align with Sacred Scripture. May his will be surrendered fully to Yours, and may Your angels shield and protect him from all evil.
We ask that our places of worship be filled to overflowing, and that perpetual adoration chapels never are empty. Protect our clergy, strengthen them, and help them remain faithful to the mission You have entrusted to them.
We lift up every spoken and unspoken intention held within our hearts.
In Your holy name we pray. We adore You, and may our love for You grow deeper with every passing day.
