A serene 1800s-style wooden veranda overlooking a wide open field of flowing pink, yellow, and white wildflowers in warm golden light, with a wooden rocking chair and a glass of water on a small table.

Savoring Grace on the Veranda

Tip of the Week

Sometimes the middle of the week is God’s soft invitation to pause for a moment, let your thoughts loosen and relax, so that you can rest in His peace.

Drink water slowly, as if savoring grace and pretend you are sitting on the veranda during the 1800’s.

From that large, quiet wooden porch, let your eyes wander across the wide open field before you.
The flowers flow gently with the breeze, drifting in soft, effortless waves.

Children laugh in the distance as they run through the tall grass,
their joy floating toward you like warm sunlight.
Their voices rise and fall in the same calming rhythm…

rise… and fall…
rise… and fall…

Each sound drifts toward you. It is a serenade of simple happiness,
innocence, steady, comforting.

Take another slow sip of water and feel grace settle gently in your chest.
Let the chair hold you.
Let the breeze brush your cheek.
Let the field stretch wide enough to carry anything you’ve been holding onto.

Here, in this soft, unhurried pause,
God’s peace meets you as tenderly as the wind moving across the field.

Enjoy this moment in peace. 🌿✨🙏
