A Prayer for God’s Blessings on Families, Nations, and the World, Day 329, South Sudan

Lord Jesus,
We thank You for the land of South Sudan,
Where rivers run beside chapels,
And the people walk in faith through hardship and hope.
We honor the Martyrs of the Sudans,
Who held fast to Your name through war and exile.
We remember the missionaries who built schools and clinics,
And the pastors who shepherded through conflict

We bless You for the cathedrals of Juba and Wau,
For the chapels in refugee camps and rural villages,
For the choirs that sing in Dinka, Bari, and Arabic,
And for the prayers whispered beneath tents and trees.

We praise You for the diversity of Your Church—
Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian, Pentecostal.
For the Christian charities that serve the displaced,
For the bishops who speak peace,
And for the youth who rise in joyful worship.

And Lord, we lift up South Sudan’s needs:
Heal wounds from civil war and division.
Renew the faith of the weary and the young.
Strengthen rural churches and sacred spaces.
Protect religious freedom and Christian symbols.
Let justice and mercy rise in every province.
