A Prayer for God’s Blessings on Families, Nations, and the World, Day 285, Poland

We remember those who suffered for Your name: Saint Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life for another; Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko, silenced for preaching truth; Saint Stanislaus, who stood firm against injustice; and Blessed Karolina Kózka, whose innocence was her offering. Let their courage awaken a new generation to holiness.

We honor the tender presence of Your Mother—Our Lady of Częstochowa, whose image has comforted kings and peasants alike; Our Lady of Gietrzwałd, who spoke in the language of the people; Our Lady of Licheń, who heals the brokenhearted; and the sacred hills of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, where Your Passion is walked in prayer.

Lord, we ask You to heal the wounds of economic inequality, especially in rural places where hope feels thin. Strengthen the hands of teachers and doctors, and let every child be nourished in body and soul. Protect the forests and rivers from harm, and guide leaders to steward creation with wisdom. Raise up voices of integrity in government, as Your Word commands in 1 Timothy 2:2, and let justice roll down like waters.
