Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I humbly seek your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young, helping them appreciate the sacred gift of marriage and the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing a life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the special bond of marriage, as well as the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.
Heavenly Father, Blessed Trinity, Son Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, we lift our hearts in radiant gratitude for Panama, Your bridge where Christians shine as one in Jesus’ love. We praise You for the vibrant faith of over 90% of Panamanians, united in proclaiming Christ as Lord, their voices rising from the ancient stones of Santa María la Antigua, our patroness, to the joyous Corpus Christi processions that fill every street with devotion to Your Son’s Eucharistic presence. The Panama Canal, a marvel of Your creation’s stewardship, joins nations, echoing Your call to spread the Gospel. We thank You for the unity of Your Church woven into a glorious tapestry of faith in Jesus, their diverse heritages of indigenous resilience, Spanish devotion, and Afro-Panamanian rhythms blended through the conquest into a radiant Christian witness. St. Louis Bertrand’s missionary zeal baptized thousands, igniting Your light, while Santa María la Antigua’s image, spared from fires and pirates, guards Panama in Your grace. The Black Christ of Portobelo, surviving shipwrecks, unites pilgrims in devotion, its miracles of healing proclaiming Your power. The martyrs of January 9, led by Ascanio Arosemena, inspire faith through their sacrifice for justice. Your Gospel shines through radio and song, and Eucharistic adoration in Panama’s churches draws hearts to Christ’s Real Presence. We rejoice in your people proclaiming Jesus’ name and indigenous hymns exalting His name. May this Christian unity grow ever brighter, a beacon of Your salvation.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples
Dear Lord, we passionately implore You to envelop all restless souls awake in the stillness of this night with Your boundless peace. We seek Your divine intervention for those on our prayer list, encompassing every beloved individual we have mentioned and those honored: Matt, Charlie, Kevin, Nicholas, Amy, Connor, Joel, Edward, Michael, Michael O, George, Joshua, Jayden, Dominik, Joseph, and Zac, alongside those we include those in desperate need whom we meet every day like the weary souls sleeping on the streets, under bridges, in hospitals, and their families. We ask You to help our teens draw closer to You, to uplift those with mental disabilities, those who wander in doubt of Your existence, and those suffering from Alzheimer’s and terminal illnesses. We pray for the growing number of men and women entering the religious life and for those who experience violence from lost souls.
Lord, please intercede between all peoples. Show them how resolve differences without fighting, rioting, or hurting one another. Open their/our eyes to the beauty in putting you first in our life and living with each other in peace. May we all understand that differing opinions don’t have to divide us; instead, let us work together to reach a common understanding. Thank you Lord for being here for me and everyone. Your presence is the beauty in our life.
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine guidance for Pope Leo XIV. We ask that You make him Your pure vessel, filled only with Your Holy Spirit. Let no worldly influence, no force outside Your heavenly kingdom, sway his heart or mind from You. May every word he speaks be Your words, inspired by Your truth and perfectly aligned with the teachings of Your Holy Scripture. We pray that his will be wholly surrendered to Yours, reflecting only Your divine purpose and glory. Lead him, Father, to be a faithful shepherd under Your sovereign control and that Your angels will shield and protect him from all evil.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
