Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I humbly seek your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young, helping them appreciate the sacred gift of marriage and the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing a life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the special bond of marriage, as well as the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, through Your Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, we lift our hearts in gratitude for the beautiful land of Nepal—a country crowned with the grandeur of the Himalayas, where Mount Everest rises like a testament to Your majesty. Thank You for the faithful believers who follow You with courage and devotion, even in the face of hardship. We remember those who gave their lives for Your name, and we honor their witness with reverence and love.
We praise You for the Catholic missions that care for children through schools and orphanages, and for the spirit of peace among Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians, living together in a way that reflects Your call to love our neighbors. Thank You for the sacred beauty of Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, and for the cultural treasures of the Kathmandu Valley—sites like Swayambhunath that speak of history, reverence, and wonder.
Bless the Sherpa people and their strength on the mountains, the joyful Dashain festivals that bring families together, and the simple meal of dal bhat that nourishes both body and community. We’re grateful for the legacy of the Gurkhas, the life-giving waters of the Gandaki River, and the gift of tourism that draws the world to witness Your creation.
We ask You to lift up those struggling with poverty and give hope to young people searching for opportunity. Protect Your Church and grant freedom to worship without fear. Bring healing to remote villages where medical care is hard to reach, and strengthen schools so every child can learn and grow.
Shield Nepal from the dangers of glacial floods and earthquakes, and guide its leaders to serve with integrity and compassion. Help build a future rooted in justice, peace, and dignity for all. You are the God who sees every mountain and every valley, every heart and every hope. Hold Nepal close, Lord, and let Your mercy flow through every village, every city, every soul
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Dear Lord, we fervently ask You to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek Your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well, Eugenie, Margaret, Wayne, Rhonda, Toni, Matt, Caryn, those who with needs that we meet on a daily basis, who sleep on sides of roads, sidewalks, under overpasses, and those in hospitals and their families, and help teens grow closer to You, those with mental disabilities, those who are lost or confused about Your existence, and people with Alzheimer’s and terminal illnesses, and the number of men and women entering the religious life.
Lord, please intercede between all peoples. Show them how resolve differences without fighting, rioting, or hurting one another. Open their/our eyes to the beauty in putting you first in our life and living with each other in peace. May we all understand that differing opinions don’t have to divide us; instead, let us work together to reach a common understanding. Thank you Lord for being here for me and everyone. Your presence is the beauty in our life.
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine guidance for Pope Leo XIV. We ask that You make him Your pure vessel, filled only with Your Holy Spirit. Let no worldly influence, no force outside Your heavenly kingdom, sway his heart or mind from You. May every word he speaks be Your words, inspired by Your truth and perfectly aligned with the teachings of Your Holy Scripture. We pray that his will be wholly surrendered to Yours, reflecting only Your divine purpose and glory. Lead him, Father, to be a faithful shepherd under Your sovereign control and that Your angels will shield and protect him from all evil.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
