Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I ask one favor from you. Please open the hearts of the young to the sacredness of marriage and the little sounds of children. Help them to see the beauty of being with someone you love all your life. Allow them to experience the joys and sadness which one can experience with that special someone and the joys and challenges which children bring.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light that others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone across the world. Inspire those in positions of influence, including our leaders, entertainers, sports figures, and business leaders, to embrace Your love and share it with others, fulfilling their roles as members of Your family. Help them to cling to Your Word and/or turn back to Your Word so that You are always their focus. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see each other as You see us.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the beautiful and unique heritage of Cyprus. We praise You for the artistry and craftsmanship displayed in Lefkara Lace, a testament to the skill You have blessed the people with. We are thankful for the rich flavors of Cypriot cuisine, which brings people together in fellowship, and for the iconic Halloumi cheese that reminds us of the simple pleasures in life. Lord, we are grateful for the olive oil that has nourished generations, a symbol of the land’s richness and the hands that toil to bring forth such bounty.
We thank You for the architectural beauty of Cyprus, where the blend of Venetian, Byzantine, and Ottoman influences reflects the diverse history of this land. We lift up the beloved cats of Cyprus, which bring comfort and companionship to many, and for the legacy of Greek and Turkish cultures, which coexist and enrich the island’s identity. We thank You for the protection and peace You provide to this land, especially in times of division, and for the preservation of Cyprus’ treasures, both natural and cultural. May Your peace continue to reign over this land.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give thanks, to worship, and to live in harmony with one another. We humbly thank You, God, for the interconnection of all these blessings. May Your light continue to guide us in our journey of peace, understanding, and gratitude.
Additionally, we confidently seek Your support for those facing the challenges of high living costs and unemployment. These financial pressures can be significant, yet we trust in You. We are deeply grateful for Your steadfast love and care, and we call upon You to supply the resources necessary for these individuals to flourish and achieve peace.
Dear Lord, we fervently ask you to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well: Pope Francis, travelers, those in hospitals and their families, and help teens grow closer to you, those with mental disabilities, those that are lost or confused about your existence, and people with Alzheimer and terminal illnesses and increase men and women entering the religious life.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
