Hello All,
There is much discussion as to why we wake up in the middle of the night. It used to drive me crazy and make me angry because I wasn’t falling back to sleep right away. Then my spiritual advisor made a comment, “…that maybe, just maybe, God is asking for some alone time with you.” After much consideration, I agreed, and I must say it makes me feel so much better knowing that He just wants to chat.
It is at those times that I start saying my prayers and just telling Him what has been on my mind. I know many will think I am crazy, but it is in those moments He speaks to me. I find I become more at peace. I enjoy our alone time together.
Anyway, I have decided to post prayers at 3 am CST daily. It seems that God likes to spend time with me at that time. I have decided to not only pray for those on the prayer list and my country, but to pray for every country in the world. To let you know, if I understand correctly, there are 195 countries.
The first country we’ll focus on is Afghanistan. Initially, I considered going in reverse order, but decided against it. With 195 countries and 365 days in a year, I’ll be dedicating approximately 2 days to pray for each country. Starting in 2025, we’ll include the last few days of 2024. By 2026, we’ll be sticking to this 2-day schedule consistently. Anyone interested in adding prayers or thoughts feel free to comment at the end of each post or on the prayer request page. ***FYI. there will be components of the prayers which will be alike. Hopefully this will not cause you not to pray along.
The 3am Global Prayer Mission
Beginning in 2025, I will be posting a daily 3am prayer for each of the 195 countries of the world.
Each nation will be prayed for over two days.
