“Home Sweet Home: A Sanctuary of Love and Faith”

What is your favorite place to go in your city?

Home! That’s the best place to be. That’s my sanctuary. It’s even better when my family and friends are there. If I can’t be here, I would want to be with them.

There are coffee shops, restaurants, movie theaters, and all sorts of exciting places that you can visit. But what they don’t have is the warmth, comfort, and happiness that you find with the ones you love.

In many cities, there are beautiful museums filled with relic of a bygone era and gorgeous intertwining gardens full of enchanting smells and vibrant colors that tantalize the senses. Oh, they are fine to visit. But there is no place like home.

Home is where you find love. Where you learn about life and what is most important. At home, there can be many challenges, but it’s also where you learn to work things out and appreciate what you are given from your family and God. It is a place where you grow, find support and learn the true meaning of belonging and togetherness.

This is a place where, no matter how little there is, there is always room for one more. You learn that being with the ones you love you have more wealth than even the richest person on earth. You learn to always give thanks and to praise God in all circumstances. Home truly is the best place in the world.

Home is the best place to be. All the smiles, tears, blessings, and sadness exist there. But there is where you find an endless amount of love, and you learn to work things out if you give it a chance.

Home is my favorite place to be.

***This song reminds me of the time I spent time in Canada with my boys altogether.
