The Lord’s Prayer (Our Father)

Recently I finished reading a book by Saint Louis de Montfort named The Secret of the Rosary which he speaks of the method of saying the Our Father in regards to demeanor, and cadence. He states that we should take our time when saying the Our Father, not to mumble or rush through it. He suggests we pause a moment or two at specific points while saying the Our Father, so that we can fully take in the meaning of each line. You can find on the forty fourth rose in the book.
Our Father, Who art in heaven,†
Hallowed be Thy Name.†
Thy Kingdom come.†
Thy will be done,†
on earth as it is in Heaven.†
Give us this day our daily bread.†
And forgive us our trespasses,†
As we forgive those who trespass against us.†
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen
He states that we should kneel when saying the Our Father and keep our hands to together with our fingers touching each other. One is allowed to say it standing or sitting. If there is a disability or if one is able to focus on the words it is allowed, but kneeling is strongly preferred. One should keep focus on the words and meaning behind each phrase as we say them maintaining reverent mannerism.
