We exalt You for the steadfast Christians who boldly worship You amidst a Muslim majority, their faith unwavering in the face of persecution. All glory to You for Jeff Woodke, who courageously endured six long years of captivity for Your name, and for the modern martyrs whose ultimate sacrifice fuels the growth of Your Church. We are filled with joy for the miraculous conversions, as entire villages turn their hearts towards Christ, and for the audio Bibles that break the barriers of illiteracy, delivering Your Word to the eager. Bless the joyful camel festivals of the Tuareg, the bustling vibrant markets of the Hausa, and the wondrous W National Park, alive with Your magnificent creatures. We are deeply thankful for the transformative work of Catholic missions serving the poor, the rich cultural heritage of the Agadez Mosque, and the unyielding spirit of the Fulani nomads, all shining as beacons of Your glory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, O merciful God, in our hearts we earnestly seek Your grace for the people of Niger. We humbly implore You to grant Your faithful protection from extremist attacks and to lift our brothers and sisters from the grip of poverty. May Your blessings provide them with access to clean water and essential healthcare, helping to reduce maternal mortality. Protect the vulnerable children from the horrors of labor and early marriage, and may our schools be strengthened to nurture a brighter, more literate future. We ask You to shield Your creation from the ravages of desertification and to guide our leaders in their efforts to uproot corruption, bringing hope and healing to all.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
