I was observant. She Was Building a Map.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were seasons when others appeared to move faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More conventional paths.<br>Clearer ladders.<br>Recognizable markers of success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I did not take the standard route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I took the scenic, layered, faith-infused, slightly complex route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But here is what I learned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you build your own map, you may walk slower \u2014<br>but you understand the terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I know where my convictions come from.<br>I know why I believe what I believe.<br>I class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candy is not just candy.<br>It is delight.<br>It is trade-off.<br>It is negotiation.<br>It is mid-section strategy.<br>It is stewardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people eat the candy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I contemplate the cost-benefit analysis of the candy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
