It was to be myself. Many years ago, when I first began my first job out of college, I was told to be myself. I had begun a job calling on mom-and-pop stores. The person I replaced was very jovial and joked around with everyone. Everyone loved her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a few weeks on the job, I was told by one of my stores that I would never be able to become her and needed to be myself. They said people can see when you are trying to be something you are not, and I would never gain the respect of the store owners or others as long as I was trying to be something other than I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every since then, I don&#8217;t try to a comedian.
