The interesting fact is her father was the king, which provided her with a life of privilege and expectation; however, her journey was anything but smooth. Her husband rose to the status of king, a position she should have shared in grandeur, yet instead, she became a duchess, which marked a significant shift in her life. Despite such a demotion from royal status, St. Joan\u2019s strength shone through as she dedicated her life to helping those in need, offering compassion and guidance.
