Dear Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank You for today. Thank You for all that You do for me each and every day, including that which I fail to notice. Thank You for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that You shield and protect them, guide them in this life, and bring them safely home to You. Let them know that You are always with them. Never let me forget Your presence in my life, and guide me safely through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord, I humbly seek Your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young. Help them to appreciate the sacred gift of marriage. May they value the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the bond of marriage. May they also embrace the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and people throughout the world. Inspire those in positions of influence. Encourage our leaders, entertainers, athletes, and business leaders to embrace Your love. Help them reflect it to others as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see one another as You see us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I ask for conversion and mercy for all sinners, and mercy for the souls in purgatory. I joyfully pray for the healing of the sick, trusting in Your will. Help those who are walking through life’s trials and tribulations, showing them the light and strength to carry on. Thank You, Lord, for the abundant life You have given me. I ask that Your angels fiercely protect us from the powers of evil that challenge our world, including the archangels appointed over each nation. Bring Your peace to every country and every people. We move to Wellington, where massive rainfall recently sent cars into the sea, flooded neighborhoods, and disrupted daily life across the region. Heavenly Father, pour Your mercy over families recovering from this destruction, steady their hearts, and provide for every need.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We travel into Bay of Plenty, Northland, Coromandel, and Tai R\u0101whiti, where deadly storms triggered widespread flooding, evacuations, and landslides that claimed multiple lives. Father, comfort the grieving, heal the injured, and strengthen communities still rebuilding from these devastating events.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We pause among families affected by Cyclone Vaianu, which brought flooding, power outages, and forced evacuations across the North Island. Father, protect those living in flood\u2011prone areas, guide leaders making decisions about relocation, and grant wisdom for long\u2011term resilience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We remember the growing reality that storms now strike New Zealand every eight days on average a sign of changi,ng climate patterns and rising vulnerability. Father, grant this nation courage, clarity, and unity as it confronts these challenges. We honor the believers who worship with sincerity, whose devotion rises like incense across the land.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n And Mary, gentle Mother of New Zealand, Mother of the pilgrim, Mother of the hopeful walk with this nation as You walked with Your Son. Let New Zealand be held in Your peace. Let its believers be strengthened. Let its future shine with the hope of the Gospel and the courage of those who love You deeply.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Dear Lord, we joyfully implore You to surround all restless souls awake in the stillness of this night with Your peace, Makenna, M\/M Elmic, M\/M Johny, Carter, M\/M Hewlette, Lacey, Evelyn, Al, Mike, Greg, Diane, Ruth, Vivian, John, Evelyn, Lloyd, and all people around the world and those on the prayer list<\/a>. We especially remember those in need: the weary finding rest on the streets, under bridges, in hospitals, and their families, knowing that hope and healing is within reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lord, please intercede among all peoples. Show them how to resolve differences without fighting, rioting, or harming one another. Open our eyes to the beauty of putting You first in our lives and living together in peace. Thank You, Lord, for being in our lives. Your presence is the beauty we see in our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We come before You seeking Your guidance for Pope Leo XIV.
