I breathe more slowly and deeply, laborious. I am overwhelmed with grief, unable to express.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How could this be?
Why?
Why?
Why did my Lord have to die?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is a heaviness in the air. Sounds are quiet, as if something profound is occurring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All is quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We look at each other with questions that no words can express.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But what do we do now?
What guidance did He give us?
Where do we go?
How can I sleep this night?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I try to sleep. I toss and turn until morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Has this all been a mirage?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we rise in the morning, we look at each other. We know we are all carrying the same questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We move through our day solemnly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We heard His words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe stone that the builder has rejected shall be the cornerstone\u2026
I will raise up the temple in three days.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
