Dear Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank You for today. Thank You for all that You do for me each and every day, including that which I fail to notice. Thank You for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that You shield and protect them, guide them in this life, and bring them safely home to You. Let them know that You are always with them. Never let me forget Your presence in my life, and guide me safely through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord, I humbly seek Your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young. Help them to appreciate the sacred gift of marriage. May they value the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the bond of marriage. May they also embrace the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and people throughout the world. Inspire those in positions of influence. Encourage our leaders, entertainers, athletes, and business leaders to embrace Your love. Help them reflect it to others as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see one another as You see us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I ask for conversion and mercy for all sinners, and mercy for the souls in purgatory. I pray for the healing of the sick, if it be Your will. Help those who are struggling to walk with You through the trials and tribulations of their lives. Thank You, Lord, for the life You have given me. I ask that Your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world. This includes the archangels appointed over each nation. Bring Your peace to every country and every people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dear Heavenly Father, we place before You the Central African Republic \u2014 a country whose very name speaks of its place in the heart of a continent, yet whose people often feel forgotten by the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You see the diamond fields and the forests. You see the villages scattered across wide land. You see leaders struggling to govern and families struggling simply to survive.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We thank You for the missionaries who first brought the Gospel here \u2014 for Spiritans and other religious communities who planted parishes and schools. We thank You for catechists who sustain the faith where clergy are few.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Strengthen the Church as a beacon of stability. Protect priests traveling long distances to celebrate the sacraments. Guard women religious who provide medical care and education under difficult conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lord, bless efforts toward disarmament and reconciliation. Soften the hearts of those tempted by violence. Give courage to political leaders to pursue justice over personal power.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We ask for peace between Christian and Muslim communities. Let cooperation overcome manipulation. Let shared humanity overcome division.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Heal economic hardship. Provide honest work. Protect those displaced by conflict. Restore agriculture and local economies so families can feed themselves with dignity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Holy Spirit, kindle hope where fatigue has settled in. Let vocations grow even in hardship. Raise up saints from this land \u2014 quiet saints, courageous saints.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Guardian Angel of this nation, do not withdraw. Stand firm.<\/strong> Lord, may the Central African Republic one day be known not for conflict, but for reconciliation. We entrust this land to Your Sacred Heart.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Let Your Spirit fill the youth with purpose, and open doors of opportunity that anchor them in faith. May corruption be replaced with righteousness, and may every leader walk in Your light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
