Dear Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank You for today. Thank You for all that You do for me each and every day, including that which I fail to notice. Thank You for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that You shield and protect them, guide them in this life, and bring them safely home to You. Let them know that You are always with them. Never let me forget Your presence in my life, and guide me safely through it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord, I humbly seek Your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young. Help them to appreciate the sacred gift of marriage. May they value the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the bond of marriage. May they also embrace the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and people throughout the world. Inspire those in positions of influence. Encourage our leaders, entertainers, athletes, and business leaders to embrace Your love. Help them reflect it to others as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see one another as You see us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I ask for conversion and mercy for all sinners, and mercy for the souls in purgatory. I pray for the healing of the sick, if it be Your will. Help those who are struggling to walk with You through the trials and tribulations of their lives. Thank You, Lord, for the life You have given me. I ask that Your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world. This includes the archangels appointed over each nation. Bring Your peace to every country and every people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day and for Your steady presence in our lives. Thank You for guarding our families and guiding us through joys and trials. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We thank You for the heroic witness of the Canadian Martyrs<\/a> \u2014 Saint Jean de Br\u00e9beuf, Saint Isaac Jogues, Saint Gabriel Lalemant, Saint Charles Garnier, Saint No\u00ebl Chabanel, Saint Ren\u00e9 Goupil, Saint Antoine Daniel, and Saint Jean de Lalande \u2014 who gave their lives proclaiming Christ among the Indigenous peoples of North America. May their courage never be forgotten.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Today, Lord, we lift up Canada<\/a> \u2014 a vast and beautiful land of forests, prairies, mountains, rivers, and northern skies. You have given this nation breathtaking beauty and abundant natural resources. You have also entrusted it with a complex history and a diverse people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We remember Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys<\/a>, who established education in Montreal; Saint Marie of the Incarnation<\/a>, who labored tirelessly in Quebec; Saint Kateri Tekakwitha<\/a>, the Lily of the Mohawks, whose purity and perseverance shine as a light of Indigenous holiness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lord, we ask for healing between Indigenous communities and the Church. Where there has been pain, bring reconciliation. Where trust has been broken, rebuild it with truth and humility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Strengthen the bishops and clergy who shepherd Your people in a culture increasingly indifferent to faith. Revive Eucharistic devotion. Rekindle reverence for the sacraments. Protect Catholic schools and charitable institutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bless the families of Canada<\/a>. Guard children from confusion and despair. Anchor young people in truth amid a culture of moral uncertainty.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Guardian Angel of Canada<\/a>, stand watch over this vast nation. Protect its leaders from pride and compromise. Inspire them to defend life, protect freedom of conscience, and govern with integrity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
