Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.

Lord, I humbly seek your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young, helping them appreciate the sacred gift of marriage and the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing a life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the special bond of marriage, as well as the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.

Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light that others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone across the world. Inspire those in positions of influence, including our leaders, entertainers, sports figures, and business leaders to embrace Your love and share it with others, fulfilling their roles as members of Your family. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see each other as You see us.

I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the land of Sweden, We bless You for the sacred places: Vadstena Abbey, where Bridget’s legacy lives on, Uppsala Cathedral, towering with history and praise, We praise You for the rhythms of worship for You, in Swedish, Sami, Arabic, and English, in Lutheran liturgy and charismatic song, in rural parishes and urban sanctuaries, in choirs, confirmation camps, and candlelit hymns.

We rejoice in Sweden’s Christian witness: in peacebuilding and diplomacy rooted in Your justice, in care for creation and the poor, in Christian charities, educators, and counselors, in families who pray in kitchens and fields and throughout the Your land.

We thank You for the missionary legacy, for those sent to Africa, Asia, and Latin America, for the publishing houses and hymn writers, for the silence centers and retreat houses, and for the quiet faith that endures in a secular age. Build up Your people, increase their numbers and open the doors of Your Churches so that everyone knows Your Presence.

And Lord, we lift up Sweden’s needs: May Sweden be a land of memory and mission, a people of praise, a nation prepared for Your coming.

Let Your Spirit fill the youth with purpose, and open doors of opportunity that anchor them in faith. May corruption be replaced with righteousness, and may every leader walk in Your light.

Where forests cradle chapels, and lakes reflect centuries of prayer.
We honor Saint Bridget of Sweden, mystic and reformer,
Who saw visions and wrote with holy fire.
We remember Saint Eskil, missionary and martyr,
And Saint Sigfrid of Växjö, who baptized kings and sowed Your Word.

Lund and Skara, where liturgy echoes through stone,
And the medieval churches of Gotland, still whispering Your name.
