{"id":10209,"date":"2025-10-27T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/my-all-about-you.com\/?p=10209"},"modified":"2025-10-26T16:24:21","modified_gmt":"2025-10-26T21:24:21","slug":"beginning-the-week-in-stillness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/my-all-about-you.com\/en\/2025\/10\/27\/beginning-the-week-in-stillness\/","title":{"rendered":"Beginning the Week in Stillness"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we begin this week, let\u2019s keep Psalm 46:10 close to heart: <em>\u201cBe still, and know that I am God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God invites us into intimacy\u2014not through noise or striving, but through quiet trust. He loves us and desires relationship. It\u2019s in the stillness of soul, the stillness of the moment, the stillness while studying His Word, that we grow in holiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re not called to stay busy doing things <em>for<\/em> God. We\u2019re invited to be <em>with<\/em> Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember Mary and Martha. Mary chose the better part\u2014she rested at Jesus\u2019 feet. That doesn\u2019t mean Martha was wrong. But it does show us what Jesus desires most: our attention, our presence, our intimacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you find it difficult to be still with God, pause and ask: <strong>What is distracting me?<\/strong> What is pulling me away from the One who simply wants to be with me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take this week to ponder what God is asking of you. Rest within His arms, acknowledging that you want that relationship too. And ask Him to aid you in receiving His peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week begins with an invitation\u2014not to do more, but to be still.
