Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I humbly seek your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young, helping them appreciate the sacred gift of marriage and the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing a life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the special bond of marriage, as well as the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.
Heavenly Father, Almighty God, through Your Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, we come before You with thanksgiving for Nepal, a nation blessed with Your creation’s beauty, from the lush Chitwan National Park to the serene Phewa Lake in Pokhara. We praise You for the 400,000 Christians, steadfast in faith, and the Protestant churches providing community and education in Your name. Thank You for the Tharu and Tamang cultures, their vibrant dances and festivals, and the Newar architecture of Bhaktapur’s Durbar Square, a testament to Your artistry. Bless the traditional thangka paintings, pashmina shawls, and the peaceful 2008 transition to a republic. We are grateful for the hydropower potential of Nepal’s rivers, the monastery schools teaching remote children, and the community solidarity reflecting Your love. Praise be for the yeti legends and Maha Shivaratri, uniting Nepal in cultural celebration.
In Your compassion, hear our pleas for Nepal’s needs. End human trafficking and gender-based violence, protecting women and children in Your love. Provide electricity to the 20% without access and improve rural roads for connectivity. Empower marginalized Tharu and other ethnic groups with representation and strengthen judicial systems for fairness. Address child mortality with better healthcare and combat food insecurity affecting 20%. Inspire youth to preserve crafts and traditions, and protect Himalayan forests from deforestation.
We’re grateful for the power flowing through Nepal’s rivers, for monastery schools that reach children in remote places, and for the spirit of unity that binds communities together in love. Praise be for the stories of the yeti and the celebration of Maha Shivaratri, which bring people together in wonder and joy.
We humbly ask You to help bring an end to the heartbreaking realities of human trafficking and violence, particularly against our vulnerable women and children. May Your love become their shelter and shield in times of despair. Illuminate the lives of those still engulfed in darkness, and pave pathways to reach the forgotten corners of our world. Amplify the voices of marginalized ethnic groups, and inspire our leaders to cultivate justice grounded in integrity and compassion.
Heal children with better access to care, and feed those who go to bed hungry. Inspire young hearts to carry forward the crafts and traditions that tell Nepal’s story, and protect the forests of the Himalayas from harm. You are the God of every mountain and valley, every village and city. May Your mercy flow through Nepal like its rivers—bringing life, peace, and hope.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Dear Lord, we fervently ask You to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek Your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well, Eugenie, Margaret, Wayne, Rhonda, Toni, Matt, Caryn, those who with needs that we meet on a daily basis, who sleep on sides of roads, sidewalks, under overpasses, and those in hospitals and their families, and help teens grow closer to You, those with mental disabilities, those who are lost or confused about Your existence, and people with Alzheimer’s and terminal illnesses, and the number of men and women entering the religious life.
Lord, please intercede between all peoples. Show them how resolve differences without fighting, rioting, or hurting one another. Open their/our eyes to the beauty in putting you first in our life and living with each other in peace. May we all understand that differing opinions don’t have to divide us; instead, let us work together to reach a common understanding. Thank you Lord for being here for me and everyone. Your presence is the beauty in our life.
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine guidance for Pope Leo XIV. We ask that You make him Your pure vessel, filled only with Your Holy Spirit. Let no worldly influence, no force outside Your heavenly kingdom, sway his heart or mind from You. May every word he speaks be Your words, inspired by Your truth and perfectly aligned with the teachings of Your Holy Scripture. We pray that his will be wholly surrendered to Yours, reflecting only Your divine purpose and glory. Lead him, Father, to be a faithful shepherd under Your sovereign control and that Your angels will shield and protect him from all evil.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
