Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I humbly seek your favor. Please touch the hearts of the young, helping them appreciate the sacred gift of marriage and the delicate sounds of children. Enlighten their vision to see the profound beauty in sharing a life with someone they love deeply. May they be open to the joys and sorrows that come with the special bond of marriage, as well as the unique joys and challenges that children bring into their lives.
Dear Heavenly Father, I humbly ask that You guide me to be the light that others long for to find their way back to You, ensuring I never hide my light under a bushel basket. Please grant peace within to those who are yearning for it. I seek Your protection and guidance over our beloved country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone around the globe. Inspire those who hold influence in their hands—our leaders, entertainers, sports figures, and business leaders—to embrace Your love and share it generously with others, fulfilling their vital roles as cherished members of Your family. Help them to hold on to Your Word and return to it often, keeping You at the center of their lives. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your comforting presence. Help us to see one another through Your eyes.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Heavenly Father, Blessed Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—You are the one true God, Creator of all nations, and we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, lifting up Guinea and its people in prayer. As those outside this land, we stand in awe of Your divine blessings upon the “Water Tower of West Africa,” a radiant reflection of Your eternal love. We thank You for the Fouta Djallon Highlands, where rivers flow from Your hand, and Mount Nimba Strict Nature Reserve, alive with Your creatures like the otter shrew. We praise You for Guinea’s bauxite reserves, a gift for Your world’s progress, and the Conakry Grand Mosque, where voices rise in worship of Your name.
Lord Jesus, we celebrate the Susu culture, whose fishing honors Your creation, and the Malinke heritage, sharing stories of Your providence. We marvel at the National Museum of Guinea, preserving Your people’s history, and balafon music, a melody of Your grace. Holy Spirit, we thank You for Guinean dances like Yankadi, uniting hearts in joy, and Independence Day’s parades, proclaiming freedom in Your truth. We honor Kankan’s Grand Mosque, a place of learning, and Eid al-Fitr celebrations, gathering families under Your care.
Yet, O Blessed Trinity, we see Guinea’s struggles and humbly seek Your aid. Lift over half Your people from poverty’s burden, filling them with Your abundance. Shield them from malaria’s scourge, and heal those afflicted by HIV with Your mercy. Lower maternal mortality with Your skilled caregivers, and save children from early death through Your provision. Open schools for rural girls, guide leaders to uproot corruption, and heal ethnic divisions, like those between Malinke and Fula, with Your peace.
May Your Holy Spirit guide Guinea’s leaders and people, uniting them in Your love. We thank You, Father, Son, and Spirit, for the countless ways You’ve blessed this nation, from its highlands to its mosques. Cover Guinea with Your grace, and let Your light shine through its people, from Conakry to Kankan.
Dear Lord, we fervently ask You to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek Your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well: L Farris, G Crawford, D Sehings, C Campo, M B, B & S Hendrick, people throughout the world, and those in hospitals and their families, and help teens grow closer to You, those with mental disabilities, those who are lost or confused about Your existence, and people with Alzheimer’s and terminal illnesses, and the number of men and women entering the religious life.
We humbly come before You, asking for Your divine guidance and wisdom to be upon the cardinals as they prepare to vote for Pope Francis’ successor. May their decision be inspired by You and reflect Your will.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
