Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I ask one favor from you. Please open the hearts of the young to the sacredness of marriage and the little sounds of children. Help them to see the beauty of being with someone you love all your life. Allow them to experience the joys and sadness which one can experience with that special someone and the joys and challenges which children bring.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light that others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone across the world. Inspire those in positions of influence, including our leaders, entertainers, sports figures, and business leaders, to embrace Your love and share it with others, fulfilling their roles as members of Your family. Help them to cling to Your Word and/or turn back to Your Word so that You are always their focus. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see each other as You see us.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the abundant blessings You have poured out upon Costa Rica. We thank You for this beautiful land, rich in biodiversity, where Your creation flourishes in every corner. Thank You for the lush forests, the crystal-clear rivers, and the pristine beaches that remind us of Your majesty and creativity.
We are grateful for the Nicoya Peninsula, a place where people live long, healthy lives, a true testament to Your gift of vitality. We thank You for the Orosi Valley, where the richness of the soil nurtures thriving coffee plantations and where history lives on in the Church of San José de Orosi, a place of peace and reflection.
We thank You for the wonder of Coco Island, a protected haven for marine life, where we can witness Your incredible handiwork in the underwater world, from hammerhead sharks to rays that swim in the depths of the Pacific Ocean.
Lord, they are blessed to live in a land that celebrates life through its folk music, from the rhythmic beats of marimba to the dances of cumbia that fill the air with joy. We thank You for the vibrant spirit of San José, where culture and history thrive in the heart of the country, reminding us of the importance of community and heritage.
Father, we also give thanks for the food that nourishes the Costa Rican people—the fruits, vegetables, beans, rice, and the simple but deeply satisfying dishes like gallo pinto, casado, and ceviche. We recognize these as gifts from Your hands, sustaining them physically and bringing them closer together as a people.
We praise You for the peace that resides in this land, for the natural beauty that surrounds everyone, and for the culture of kindness and hospitality that flows from the hearts of the Costa Rican people.
We ask for Your continued guidance, protection, and blessings upon this country. May it continue to be a beacon of sustainability, kindness, and gratitude. Thank You, Lord, for all the good gifts You have bestowed upon Costa Rica and for allowing them to be stewards of this precious land.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give thanks, to worship, and to live in harmony with one another. We humbly thank You, God, for the interconnection of all these blessings. May Your light continue to guide us in our journey of peace, understanding, and gratitude.
Additionally, we confidently seek Your support for those facing the challenges of high living costs and unemployment. These financial pressures can be significant, yet we trust in You. We are deeply grateful for Your steadfast love and care, and we call upon You to supply the resources necessary for these individuals to flourish and achieve peace.
Dear Lord, we fervently ask you to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well: Pope Francis, R Neck, J Dillard, T Laborie, J McQueen, C Stanton, L Bridges, L Ross, M Efferson, and help teens grow closer to you, those with mental disabilities, those that are lost or confused about your existence, and people with Alzheimer and terminal illnesses and increase men and women entering the religious life.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
