Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today. Thank you for what you do for me each and every day and for that which I fail to notice. Thank you for taking care of my family, friends, and acquaintances. I ask that you shield and protect them and guide them in this life. Bring them safely home to you. Let them know that you are there for them. Never let me forget your presence in my life and guide me safely through this life.
Lord, I ask one favor from you. Please open the hearts of the young to the sacredness of marriage and the little sounds of children. Help them to see the beauty of being with someone you love all your life. Allow them to experience the joys and sadness which one can experience with that special someone and the joys and challenges which children bring.
Dear Heavenly Father, guide me to be the light that others need to find their way back to You, never hiding my light under a bushel basket. Grant peace within to those who seek it. I ask for Your protection and guidance over our country, our political officials, our clergy, and everyone across the world. Inspire those in positions of influence, including our leaders, entertainers, sports figures, and business leaders, to embrace Your love and share it with others, fulfilling their roles as members of Your family. Help them to cling to Your Word and/or turn back to Your Word so that You are always their focus. May their light shine brightly, drawing others into Your presence. Help us to see each other as You see us.
I ask for the conversion and mercy on all sinners and have mercy for the souls in purgatory and all the faithfully departed. I pray that you heal the sick if it be your will. I pray that you help those who are having a hard time. Help them walk with you through those trials and tribulations in their life. Thank you, Lord, for the life you have given me. I ask that your angels fight fiercely against the powers of evil that beset our world, including the archangels of each country. Please bring your peace to every country and peoples.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts to thank You for the many wonders of Christmas Island. We are in awe of its unique geology, with steep cliffs, caves, and plateaus that offer a diverse and breathtaking landscape to explore. We are blessed by the ancient rainforests that are home to towering trees and a myriad of plant species, enriching the island’s natural beauty.
We give thanks for the vibrant marine life that teems in the waters around the island. Dolphins, whale sharks, and various fish species remind us of the diversity of Your creation. We are grateful for Christmas Island’s remote location, a hidden gem in the Indian Ocean, far from major landmasses, providing a serene and untouched haven.
We are amazed by the annual red crab migration, a spectacular sight as millions of crabs journey from the forest to the sea to spawn. This event is a testament to the intricate and marvelous design of Your world.
Thank You for the diverse wildlife that calls the island home, including the endangered Abbott’s booby and the Christmas Island frigatebird. Their presence highlights the importance of preserving and protecting Your creation.
We are grateful for the designation of two-thirds of the island as a national park, ensuring that its natural beauty and biodiversity are preserved for generations to come. The island’s national park serves as a sanctuary for its unique flora and fauna.
We also give thanks for the coconut crabs, the world’s largest land-dwelling arthropod, that inhabit the island. Their size and presence are a remarkable part of the island’s ecosystem.
It is on behalf of the wonders of Christmas Island that we pray, Lord. May we continue to cherish and protect these gifts, honoring the magnificence of Your creation.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give thanks, to worship, and to live in harmony with one another. We humbly thank You, God, for the interconnection of all these blessings. May Your light continue to guide us in our journey of peace, understanding, and gratitude.
Additionally, we confidently seek Your support for those facing the challenges of high living costs and unemployment. These financial pressures can be significant, yet we trust in Your commitment to make a difference. We are deeply grateful for Your steadfast love and care, and we assertively call upon You to supply the resources necessary for these individuals to flourish and achieve peace.
Dear Lord, we fervently implore you to grant peace to all those restless souls awake at this hour of night. We seek your divine assistance for those on the prayer list, including every cherished individual mentioned earlier, as well as those listed on this website’s prayer list. Please include these individuals as well: M Polk, K A Nijoka, K Holifield, V Levraea, D Carter, D Hausse, D Lirette, K Naquin, and help teens grow closer to you, those with mental disabilities, those that are lost or confused about your existence, and people with Alzheimer and terminal illnesses and increase to men and women entering the religious life.
We ask that you fill our places of worship to overflowing and that perpetual adoration chapels are filled at every hour of the day, every day of the week. Additionally, please shield and protect our clergy. Give them the strength to carry on and follow you more closely and not lose sight of the mission which you have given to them. We lift up every heartfelt intention and unspoken plea buried deep within us. In your sacred name, we pray. We adore you, and with every passing day, may our love for you grow deeper and more profound.
